The Artist, Title, and Album fields in the TAG file are the maximum characters allowed defined by the TAG or your program? Is there a way to make these slightly longer?
Mp3 File Editor is compatible with ID3 V1.1 TAG format. In this TAG format you can use max. 30 characters for Artist, Title, Album and 28 characters for Comment. You can use ID3 V2 TAG format (this standard supports more characters for Artist, Album, etc...) with ID3v2 plug-in, but this isn't fast like this (ID3 V1.1).

 How do you uninstall the trial version?
Click on: START (button) / Programs / Mp3 File Editor and select use Uninstall icon.

Can i change the name tags on mp3s with this program? How?
If you are changing mp3 file tags only one by one: - select one file - change for example artist and title and press ENTER (or green check) you confirm this tag and is saved to file. If you want to change more inforamtions in more than one file at once try: - select your files (you must be in "Multi-select ON" mode) - write text to box in which you want to have same informations for example to Album box write your album name and LOCK it by "yellow key" near the box. -use "green check button", now is saved the same album name to all selected files.

Every time i click the green check, all changed info goes back to what it was, what am i doing wrong?
Depends on what your doing. Usualy you are in multiselect mode and you haven't used LOCK buttons.

I'm looking for a program that will change ID tags of my files all at once. Example: I have a directory called Dire Straits. I want to change all the Genre tags to Pop in one step, not editing each file. Will your program do this?
Of course,
1. Open mp3 files (by drag&drop, by seraching mp3s in directory or another way...).
2. Select option so called "MultiSelect" (see green led at top of border "Opened files"). This step enable you "key" butonns (at main page) you can lock genre key (by click) and select pop genre. Mark (select) all "Dire Straits" songs.
3.Click on the green check confirm button.
